Franklin Mason Press
a family business
– established 1999 –
Franklin Mason Press was founded with three simple principles…selectively publish books that kids love to read, provide children with an avenue into the world of publishing and use each children’s book to benefit children’s charity, both financially and through public awareness. We are pleased to say that, as we celebrate our 15th Anniversary, we have not only continued our mission, we have expanded our goals. Now, in addition to our 6-9 year old Guest Young Author and Illustrator Contest, we offer a 9-12 year old Guest Young Author Contest. At the moment we are working on interactive writing and illustrating pages and additional opportunities for children to have their work published. To date, over 70 children have had their work published and thousands of kids are picking up their pencils, writing, drawing, and submitting their work. Our other commitment, to our charity partners, continues to thrive. We have not only donated thousands of dollars to our charities and organizations who use our books as fundraising tools, but we have been able to donate large quantities of books to kids in need, including children who suffered through Hurricane Katrina. As an independent publisher, we strive to create innovative ways to compete with the enormous New York publishers and over the years we have been fortunate to maintain a loyal and growing following. As we celebrate our 17th year and the publication of our 25th book, we thank everyone who has supported our efforts and shared our books with friends, family, and schools.
Thank you
